LETOON: 4 km from Xanthos. Letoon, located in the distance, was the religious center of Lycia in Antiquity. In this sanctuary there are a monastery, a fountain and the remains of the Roman theater, along with the temples of Leto, Apollo and Artemis. The largest temple dedicated to Leto, mother of Artemis and Apollo, is the Temple of Leto in the west and made in the form of peripteros, and is 30.25 m. In size. The Apollo temple, which was built in the Dorian style in the east, is less protected from the temple of Leto and it is 15.07 m to 27.90 m. It's smaller with sizes. The temple of Artemis, the smallest temple in the middle of both temples, is 18.20 m. Dimensions. Letoon, together with Xanthos, is at the UNESCO World Heritage List.
